There was an amazing amount of talent meeting up at Après Midi...Americans with lots of creativity, spirit and gumption.
New York pianist/singer Larry King brought a copy of his new CD, "Very Early," and is hoping to find work, an apartment and enjoy his new life in Paris. http://www.LarryKingMusicNY.com
Another New Yorker, Polly Crongeyer , brought her Canon camera and large lens to photograph "candid, colorful and compelling" photography. http://www.PollyCrongeyer.com
Screenwriter and producer Alexis Niki passed our post cards to promote her new film, "My Bitchy Witchy Paris Vacation (Because there's more to life than hormones.)"...soon to be out. http://www.bitchywitchythefilm.com
Veronique Husson, French resident of the Marais, passed out cards, too -- of her mosaic work extraordinaire. She's the artist who created the tile work at Le Provençal and Le Saint-Tropez/La Brigitte. http://www.intemporelle-deco-mosaik.com

Author of mystery novels, Michael Genelin, came for the first time, to lighten his spirits, having just lost his wife, Susy, a few weeks ago, to cancer. http://www.michaelgenelin.com

Jo Nguyen, here for two months, is hoping to find a place here and live part-time.
Lana Yanbro, here for one month, is on vacation, but is considering moving here one day.
Will and Janet Fox from Philadelphia, are on vacation but normally come for a few months at a time.
Marianne Balding enoys speaking English, making friends and having a nice time eating out, going to the theater and expostions.
Tom Houlihan has all intentions of moving here by April 2011 and is networking while visiting Paris. His mother, Julie Seabury, was along for the ride, and has fallen in love with the city. She's trying to learn French and prepare for a permanent move here.
Judy Lawry, an Australian, is a lecturer at the University of Paris and is here for the summer.
Jodi Schmaltz, an outgoing person who loves people and Paris, and who owns two businesses, is looking to "grow" in Paris by spending more time here.
Linda Corwin and Ed Frender are planning on moving to Paris June 2011 when they retire, but are here now for just one year getting the 'lay of the land.'
Other regulars to Après Midi included:
Roger and Naoma Foreman are still seeing plays, walking lots and filming and photoing new stuff.
Alice Needham and Bill Sandie would never miss a gathering!
Dale Novick Gaber is happy to be back and about to sign on the sale of her Marais apartment to another reader of Parler Paris!
Patricia Laplante Collins had pup Eve in tow and still hosting her wonderful Sunday evening networking meetings at Paris Soirées.
