No one immediately noticed my new set of eyelashes thanks to SuperCils Kiwi and "Lash Queen of Paris," Wendy Newman, who once again brought along her pup, "Paris," the Pomeranian, but complimented me on looking particularly good that day. Wendy's new Auto-Entrepreneurial business seems to be taking off and rightly so -- they look great and you don't feel a thing. Interested? Contact Wendy at 06.01.45.39.76 or supercils@hotmail.fr
Shaun Maamo came again -- she's here for three months and would really like to make it more permanent.
Mary Louise Sillman has lived on the Left Bank for 21 years quite happily. She still says Paris has all of the most marvelous adjectives written about it in books, film and poetry. Mary Louise is a professional model whom you may have seen in several commercials and thanks to her artistic talents, we were blessed with her hand-made holiday cards for sale.
Pat and Jean Johnson are visiting on route to Stockholm to spend the holidays with their daughter's family and grandchildren. They lived here from 1988 to 1990 and now visit as often as they can.'
Christine Gates is here for 12 months (at least), working on an art project.
Old friend of Parler Paris and colleague Joe Soileau stopped in to say hello and participate in the ceremony to honor Eva Lee Lichtenberg, along with Eric Tolbert who met her at Après Midi and had come to say goodbye to her in the same way.
Dolores Lilley is back in town until the Spring and Karin Mansfield, a visitor to Paris with a house in Bretagne, stopped in because she "love France."
Valerie Grauer, a past language school director (who once hosted Parler Parlor) turned Nuskin distributor, is looking for partners who with to develop their own network. Contact her at +33 (0) 6.14.57.59.19 if you are interested.
Journalist, Tibault Worth brought along his wife, Zing Jas Worth, who is a trailing spouse trying to stay professionally connected.
Paula Simon is here vacationing and learning French.
Sonia Davalos, one my oldest friends, a native of Mexico City, came to pay her respects to Eva Lee.
Toward
the end of the afternoon, I read the words of Marilee McClintock,
a long time friend of Parler Paris, about her friend, Eva Lee
Lichtenberg and Eric Tolbert read words I
had written as I was too choked up to read them myself. We took about
15 minutes to talk about Eva and Sonia
added her impressions of our friend who rarely missed an Après
Midi and warmed our hearts for many years. May she rest in peace.
