It was another glorious day of sunshine as the troops ascended the stairs at La Pierre du Marais. We had quite a few newcomers who left happy to have met so many others of like mind.
Roger and Noama Foreman from Phoenix visit Paris every year in April or May for two to four weeks.
Dim and Dana Melton visit friends, learn a bit more about the culture and the language while they are here for three months living in the 6th arrondissement.
Alexandra Harper has been in France now for six months, but just moved to Paris only three weeks ago in the hopes of finding a job in marketing and meeting new people and finding networking opportunities.
Gary and Debby Cortès are only here until May 27th, but visit Paris regularly, staying in an apartment in Le Marais.
Robert Mandel and Lois Alexander said only one word about Paris, "Pleasure."
Alice Needham has an apartment in Paris and is here for three months with friend, Bill Sandie.
Among
the regulars were Jeanne Velu who is the owner of a
relocation service called BH International,
she came to Paris six years ago and decided to stay.
Patricia Laplante Collins, of Paris
Soirees, came as she always does, toting Eve this time around, her
Black Labrador, who stayed happily in the corner all through the afternoon.
Judith Merians, our favorite screenplay authority, who has taught several screenwriting workshops, is still in Paris and loving it.
Gar Westfall is in from Hawaii for two months, which is never long enough for him to eat and visit his way through the city.
Medora Kaltenbach, graced us with her presence once again, as did Delores Lilley, who are are sure to count on if they are in Paris.
Our next meeting is June 10th, the day before I head to New York to apartment hunt, so don't miss the chance to meet me and the other readers of Parler Paris. Mark you calendar now!
