Jeffrey Greene: discussed "The Burgundy You Probably Don't Know: A Talk, Short Reading, and Illustrated Tour" Burgundy is renowned for its culinary tradition, its celebrated chardonnay and pinot noire wines, and its gorgeous Romanesque churches. However, there are parts of this large region of forests, chateaus, and canals that are unfamiliar even to many of the French themselves. We 'journeyed' with Jeffrey Greene, author of French Spirits and its sequel The Golden-Bristled Boar: Last Ferocious Beast of the Forest, on an inside view of Burgundy. It was a most enlightening journey into the life of a wild boar and life in Burgundy!
Patricia Laplante was sorely missed!: a special get-well wish was mentioned to Patricia Laplante who is currently recouperating at a Paris hospital. Get well soon, Patricia! For more information abut her Sunday night soireés, visit: www.parissoirees.com.

Currently living in the 7th -- moving to Gentilly. I am here as my goal is to be here because I have always loved France since the first visit in '72.
