Adrian McGinn, a Dubliner who has lived in Paris many years, was back, but this time he brought along a friend, George de la Guardia from Mill Valley, who is now retired in Burgundy.
Newcomers included Haydee Rivas, from the Dominican Republic, wants to stay for one or two years and is seeking an investment property.
Jan Howell and and her friend Karen Lehman, both from Los Angeles, who are visiting for 10 days and also considering owning something together in Paris.
This was Judy Wilson's first time at Après Midi, but not the first time we met. She had attended the very first Travel Writers Workshop we sponsored in 2002! Great to have her back...and she's taking lessons at Lutèce Langue, so we are sure to also see her at Parler Parlor!
Julie Gerard has a share in the Villa Monceau Fractional Ownership property and was with Cathy Perry, who is just visiting with her. She says "If money were no object, I'd be living in Paris."
Jonathan Jacobs, a potter from California, lives here part of the time in the Quartier Saint Medard, and for the first time paid us a visit.
"Oldtimers" included Al Stewart of Business-Mentors, who also spends about half a year here in his "pied-à-terre" we call "Le Trésor." It's one of the community of "Parler Paris Apartments" vacation rentals.
Madeleine Georgette, who lives in the neighborhood, came along with her pup and Martine Safars was back again. She's French/Belgian/Argentinean, has lived all over the world, and is a coach and associate to PSI Communications.
Robert Mandel and Lois Alexander are "glad to be back for two months," and are "having a good time."
Gar Westfall from Hawaii is here now for his usual two months along with Walter and Shirley Pappas, from Washington, DC for their usual one-month stay.
Judith Merians, film industry specialist from Los Angeles, now spends about half a year here and Victoria Strong, Pleasure Coach, are two of our old friends we love to have with us.
Victoria says politics and sex are basically the same...we're not sure what she means (!), but it's a fun concept!
And highly unusual, Patricia Laplante Collins, of parissoirees.com WAS NOT there for the first time in a long time!
