Meeting of February 10, 2009
Photos do not necessarily match descriptions.

Thanks to high winds and rains, we had a small, but loyal group of old and new friends on a cold February afternoon.

Dory Renn was back and still reluctant to let us photograph her. She carries a favorite photo of herself to place over her face and then we're sure to see her as she'd like us to!

Janice Fenster is here every winter for the last four years, still trying to write fiction and perfect her French as a regular at Parler Parlor.

Delores "Dee" Litchfield from Manila and New York has been coming to Paris for the last 12 years, works in real estate and manages two friends' apartments on the Ile Saint-Louis...but she says she comes primarily for music, art, cuisine.

Washington, DC resident John Richardson owns an apartment in Montmartre that he rents when he's not enjoying it himself as he loves Paris, the lifestyle and the great change it provides from the U.S.

Chef Patti Ravenscroft brought along her husband, Kent, and information about a Truffle Weekend in Périgord with Chef Pierre Corre beginning February 20th. Anyone wishing to go, visit Cook France for more information.

And of course, Patricia Laplante Collins, with pup Eve in tow, wouldn't miss a single gathering! Plan on attending her upcoming Sunday evening soirée where she hosts author of "A Year in the Merde" Stephen Clarke! Visit http://www.parissoirees.com/ for more information.
